Well, that went by quickly...

So, as you can see by the date above, it's almost been a year since I started this new bloggy. I'm so terrible at keeping up things like this. It's getting late so I'm just going to quickly go through the list from the previous post.
  1. vlog channel- incomplete
  2. editing videos- since #1 is incomplete, this one obviously is also.
  3. vlog adventures- adventures were had, vlogs were not. Again, I stink at this...
  4. more jobs- Probably the ONLY thing in this list that is anywhere near being accomplished. Always room for more jobs, but definitely gained since the beginning of last year.
  5. skydiving- negative
  6. quiet negatives- uhhhh yea this seems to have failed also. There's always time for improvement but I only have a few weeks left.
  7. miss motorcycle misses you- she still misses you. At least run her in the driveway to get the old gas out.. sheesh..
  8. photography- I didn't really snap any more photos this year than last year I don't think.
  9. half marathon- I'm definitely not up to a half marathon yet, but I did do the color run again and the Rugged Maniac. It was super fun to do. And I'm signed up for next year!
  10. lighthouse challenges- I did the Maryland LC but unfortunately did not do the NJLC. Maybe next year?
  11. hellogiggles- HA. I can't accomplish any sort of artistic brain usage at all. Why is that. Is it a thing where if you don't use it you lose it? Help me out here...

Well, that's my failure of a list. I think for the beginning of next year, I should make a more realistic list. Add some stuff that I know I will definitely be accomplishing.

Ugh.

Bring it on, 2015.

Welcome ladies and gents, to the new blog in my life. I feel bad leaving my other blog and moving on, but it's time. Some things have to just be left alone and I think that's one of them.

So it is the first month of 2015 and as many times as I write/type 2015 it looks just as strange as I thought it would. It's just ugly. I got used to the 2000's and those were pretty sweet. I was among the last graduating class to have two zero's. (2009) Leaving high school felt like the end of something and I mean, technically it was. It was the end of the '00's. Anyway, as I continue through January, I started to dwell on the past a little more than I should of. I started to wonder about what I would be like if I took a totally different road than what I actually took. But then I checked myself I was like, "Listen, Self, stop dwelling. It'll just get ugly. Face the future and leave the past where it belongs."  So I did listen to myself. This is me moving on and facing the future.

Since it's January I decided to list some hopes for this year. Simple ones of course, but hopefully these hopes will stay hopeful and not hopeless. =]
  1. Start up a vlog channel on Youtube and actually make a couple consistent episodes.
  2. Get really good with editing videos. It could totally help with a career maybe?
  3. Go on adventures and vlog them. There's nothing worse than not being able to remember what exactly happened.
  4. Continue on with the work you have been doing and try to expand as much as possible. You're making money, but it's time to make more. There's always more to be made. Networking is KEY.
  5. Skydiving would be nice?
  6. Try to keep the negatives to a dull roar and when you are positive, make it known. Not many people think it's possible for you to actually be positive.
  7. Get out on the motorcycle more often. She misses you, and I know you miss her. Letting her just sit around and get gross is not good for either one of you. Do what you gotta do.
  8. Go out and photograph more. You're decent at it and you have enough to say when you see a lousy picture someone has taken. Just shut up and take a better one yourself. Take two if you want.
  9. Attempting a half marathon would be exciting. You have thought about it and even though running is no where near your favorite thing to do, being able to move fast for that distance would be a super cool accomplishment.
  10. Keep those early Fall months open for more Lighthouse Challenges. You love them and the crowd. I mean you are the O.P. as it is. Stick with it. (And don't forget the GoPro!)
  11. Write an article for Hellogiggles and have it get published. That would be really cool too!
So that is a few to start. I hope they aren't too far fetched and I hope all of them are accomplished. Deadline: December 31, 2015

Well, I hope the rest of everyone's year is a happy and healthy one. Let's hope for the best and "may the odds be ever in your favor."

xoxo
